The document serves as an objective baseline, recording any pre-existing defects and helping to minimise disputes while protecting the interests of both owners throughout the works.
We prepare Party Wall Awards that regulate how and when notifiable works may be carried out, setting out the rights and responsibilities of both the Building Owner and Adjoining Owner. The Award provides a clear legal framework, covering construction methodology, access arrangements, and procedures for dealing with damage, allowing works to proceed while protecting the interests of all parties involved.
